This schedule will change as the semester progresses, I will be adding links to my
class lectures and keynote presentations and links for readings and updates on our assignments. So, you will want to check here on a regular basis. At least once a week.

Week One : Introduction to our course & organizing ourselves into research groups

Week Five : Summary & Research strategies
Oct 1 - 5 : Mon : Today we will discuss The Benefits of Facebook, "Friends:" Social Capital and College Students’ Use of Online Social Network Sites in prepration for writing your summaries tomorrow.

In preperation for Friday's class, you should do a little exploring online around our research topic: Digital Literacy. Try using the Library data bases or Google Scholar.
Week Six : Researching and Proposal presentation
Oct 8 - 12 : Mon : Thanksgiving & Indigenous People's Day Holiday
: Wed : Research and Summary: This will be a "How to find research articles' workshop class.
: Fri : Research Questions Due On your Team research page before class
Remember, missing a workshop will cost you 2 points -- and I will take attendance, so please organize yourself accordingly.
Week Seven : Conference Workshops
Oct 15 - 19 : Mon: Workshop : first draft of your research proposal is due on your research team page.
: Wed : Research proposals Due 6 pm
: Fri : Workshop

Week Eight : Conference Workshops
Oct 22 - 26 Conference Workshops
Mon Oct 22nd: Your Biographies with photos and final Conference proposals must be posted for the Conference Technical director to upload.
Friday Oct 26th: All of your presentation visuals must be posted and ready for the Conference team to upload.
Sunday Oct 28th: Your Research webspace is complete and ready for evaluation. Your webspace is worth 12.5% of your conference grade.
Week Nine: Conference Week /Location TBA
Oct 29 - Nov 2 :
Missing a Conference Class you will cost you 3 points.

Mon Nov 5: What is a Research Paper?

** This will be a pass or fail quiz -- that means you either study chapters 7 & 8 and earn 10 points, or you don't and earn nothing -- and you will not be able to re-write.
